Another great day which started at 6.30am with Joe Wicks putting me through my paces this morning with a BodyCoach beginners HITT workout – he does make good eye candy for waking up early.
An early morning HITT meant overnight oats. YIPPEE I’d not had these since November …… eek!I heated them through after the HITT before showering which meant that by the time I’d got to work they had cooled down – I prefer to eat them much warmer plus the frozen raspberries on the top them melt in better. Lesson learnt.
Lunch was late, so ended up with a Tesco pasta and chicken salad. That and nuts satisfied my hunger needs at work today. Some of the nuts were salted which I think was a good thing as fancied a bit of salt plus I’d heard about someone taking the whole ‘clean’ thing a little too seriously yesterday and they ended up in hospital where her salt levels were dangerously low. I don’t think that is ever likely to happen to me but regardless, today I helped to build up my salt reserves just in case.
Houmous and a few dry biscuits when I got home, then I set to making Ferne Cotton’s Goji Bread (very easy and no kneading or yeast rising stuff!) and homemade Carrot and Coriander Soup. Supper was the bread and soup – clean, wholesome and low calorie – just missing some protein though.
Still no diet coke – get in! Drinking today was a couple of litres of weak squash/water and three Pukka Herbal Teas from my new lush pink Pukka tin – Elderberry & Echinacea was a new flavour for me and frankly it was lush … nuff said.
