When you’re having an ‘I quit’ 2 weeks – yikes!

Oh dear, oh dear. Well let’s just say that the last 2 weeks have NOT exactly gone to plan. A combination of feeling unwell, half term, my mum’s birthday celebrations and lots of stressful stuff going on at work have resulted in a few things going a little Peter Tong. My goodness the first 6 weeks of the year were sooooo much easier in comparison!

The result – well, two weeks of no exercise (groan) and eating things that I really shouldn’t have had (namely birthday cake!!!). But actually other than that nothing else terribly disastrous when I think about it – although it probably all just feels worse.

In fact, apart from the exercise (ahem…) most of the habit changes from early Jan are still intact.

So its time to start getting back on track. I’ve got to stop being so hard on myself. We all fall off the wagon. I’m human.

One of the lovely ladies at my pilates class last night, who I hadn’t seen for 2 weeks, said how much she had loved reading this blog. This has helped me to start to plan to get more focused.

It’s going to take a few days but I am starting to feel motivated again. So watch this space….
