I don’t know about you, but I sometimes find myself overly worrying about things. Worrying about how something might pan out, apprehensive about something big coming up and sometimes just worrying about worrying. Please tell me that I am not alone ……..
If I am feeling a little anxious I turn to Bach’s Rescue Remedy. I came across this range of products a few years ago. I like it as it is a totally natural product and well, it seems to do the trick for me.
Discovered by Dr Bach in the 1930’s, the British doctor developed a range of remedies called the Bach flower remedies, which are based on homeopathy. They are made from wild flowers and are safe for all of the family, including pets. If my children are a little anxious about something, then I have sometimes given the Rescue Remedy to them and it has always helped to settle them.
Aimed to gently restore the balance between mind and soul, it removes the negative emotions of fear, worry, hatred and indecision and allows peace and happiness to return to the sufferer.
There are 38 different flower remedies although I’ve not tried any of those, just the Rescue Remedy.
The Rescue Remedy is a blend of 5 different Bach’s Flower Remedies and was created by Dr Bach to help with emergencies or crisis, helping us to relax and keep calm.
The flower remedies included in the Rescue Remedy are:
- Impatiens
- Star of Bethlehem
- Cherry Plum
- Rock Rose
- Clematis
Homeopathy has played an important role in my life over the last few years. Whilst the Rescue Remedy is great for calming you at that moment, homeopathy can be used to help a range of emotions and ailments …. but that’s another blog for another day.
I always carry a little bottle of Rescue Remedy in my handbag – I never know when I might need it!
Have you tried this product? How have you found it?
